Dublin Airport is 13 km away; direct airport coaches stop about 10 minutes' walk from the hostel, while public buses (41/16) from the airport require a connection via city centre. The local area includes Lidl and Tesco supermarkets for supplies, and on-site private parking (€12/day, reservation needed) helps those arriving by car. The quiet street offers good walkability to central attractions, but the alleyway setting can feel less secure after dark, particularly for solo travellers.

Private twin rooms (18 m2) offer a quiet street view, a TV, wardrobe, and electric kettle. Dormitory rooms (12-24 m2) feature comfortable bunk beds with privacy curtains, individual lights, and charging sockets. Each bunk has a large wire locker underneath - lockable with your own padlock - but pulling the locker out can be noisy for the lower bunk occupant. Bed lengths accommodate taller travellers (up to 191 cm). Rooms are heated, have parquet floors, and soundproofing helps reduce noise, though doors can slam and thin walls transmit corridor sound. Pillows are synthetic/cotton; some find them thin. Some rooms lack adequate shelving near the bed for phones. Top-bunk ladders are narrow with limited handrails. The hostel operates a non-smoking policy throughout, with a designated smoking area outside.

Breakfast (included) runs from 8:30 to 10:30 AM and offers toast, spreads, cereals, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and juice. Coffee and tea remain freely accessible in the common room all day. The fully equipped shared kitchen has plenty of storage, cookware, and a relaxed atmosphere for preparing your own meals. Several pubs, pizzerias, and restaurants - including The Brazen Head (0.5 km) and The Liberty Belle (0.5 km) - are within a short walk, and the hostel can provide a list of partner restaurants offering discounts.

A roof terrace on the top floor provides outdoor seating and city views. The common areas include an inviting shared lounge/TV room with books, board games, and DVDs.
