The hostel is within walking distance of most city-centre attractions. The Temple Bar area is known for its lively pub scene, with dozens of bars, restaurants and clubs on the doorstep. Bus routes 16 and 41 provide direct service to and from Dublin Airport; the stop is just a few minutes away. Two grocery stores are across the street, and a wide range of eateries-including Irish, Middle Eastern and Indian options-are within 0.3 to 0.5 kilometres. While the location is superb for exploring, the street-facing rooms can be very noisy, especially on weekend nights.

Dorm rooms have wooden floors and bunk beds; private rooms include tea and coffee-making facilities. All bathrooms are shared and cleaned multiple times daily. Room sizes are compact-some private rooms measure less than three square metres-and windows are old, offering minimal sound insulation and sometimes allowing drafts. Some rooms have no windows or ventilation; these can become stuffy. Heating is provided by radiators, though a few may be faulty or create a burning smell. Bedding and mattresses show wear and tear; some mattresses are lumpy with visible stains. The property has no air conditioning. Noise from the street and the building's ventilation system is a common concern; earplugs are recommended for light sleepers.

No breakfast is provided on-site. The adjoining pizza place serves takeaway and delivery, with the discount available upon check-in. For more variety, dozens of restaurants-serving Irish, falafel, Asian, and Nepalese cuisine-are within a five-minute walk. The area also has several convenience stores and a supermarket across the street for self-catering supplies. Note that the hostel has no guest kitchen, so all meals must be purchased or eaten out.

The terrace is a simple outdoor area accessible from the upper floor. It offers a place to relax or socialise, though it is not equipped with loungers or seating beyond basic furniture. No other leisure facilities such as a gym, pool or spa are available. The terrace is also the designated smoking area. Views from the roof show surrounding buildings and the cityscape.

Wi-Fi is free but may be slow during peak hours. Luggage storage is available in a baggage room (no lockers; no locks required as it is not a locker system). The property has CCTV in common areas for security. Designated smoking is only allowed on the rooftop terrace. No elevator is present; all floors are accessed by stairs. The building is shared with a pizza takeaway, so delivery drivers may use the entrance, but guest rooms are secured with a door code. Payments accepted: Visa, MasterCard, and debit cards. No laundry facilities are available on-site.
