GATEWAY HOTEL PRATUNAM, Bangkok

The property is situated within a narrow alley that vehicles cannot enter, so the final approach must be made on foot. This street is lined with Indian restaurants and can be very crowded. The hotel is about 3 km from Patpong Street and 5 km from the Grand Palace. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 24 km away. A large food court with halal options is just 50 m away, and the BTS Skytrain is a bit farther than ideal for some - walking time to the nearest station is considerable. Ride-hailing pick-ups require walking out of the alley to a less congested spot.

Breakfast is not included as standard; availability and cost must be confirmed when booking. Dozens of restaurants serving local dishes are steps away, and a large food court 50 m from the hotel offers a wide variety including halal food. Nearby eateries include Bangkok Balcony, Red Sky, Fruits Buffet, Viet In Dish, and The Curry Pot, all within a 5-minute walk. For those wanting to cook, rooms include an electric kettle but no kitchen facilities.

The hotel offers a 24-hour front desk, concierge service, and free luggage storage. Daily housekeeping is complimentary, while laundry and dry cleaning incur an additional charge. A paid airport shuttle (pick-up and drop-off) can be arranged after booking. A business centre and fax/photocopying are available for a fee. The building has a lift, family rooms, non-smoking rooms, and a designated smoking area. Safety deposit boxes are provided free of charge. No iron is available on site.
