The hostel is set in a university and business area with a dynamic mix of bars and cafes. Badal metro station (L5, blue line) is a 5-minute walk away and connects to the city centre in under 15 minutes. From El Prat airport, take the L9S metro line to Collblanc station, then a 10-minute walk. Alternatively, the train to Sants station followed by two metro stops to Badal is the fastest rail option. The hostel is well placed for exploring on foot, though the city's main attractions (e.g. Casa Batlló) are 5 km away.

Rooms come in 4-, 6-, 8-, or 10-bed configurations, either mixed or female-only. All dorms are air-conditioned and heated. Shared bathrooms are equipped with hairdryers. A small number of private rooms (with private bathroom) are available. Each bed has a curtain for privacy, and bed linen is provided. Towels are included. The under-bed lockers are spacious enough for a backpack but require a padlock (available for purchase). The hostel's social atmosphere means noise from roommates and common areas can vary, especially before midnight.

A free family dinner is served every evening, typically a simple vegetarian meal, and is a great way to meet other travellers. The fully equipped communal kitchen has multiple fridges, cookware, and utensils, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. Free tea and coffee are available all day. Several restaurants and grocery stores (including an Aldi) are within a 5-minute walk. A continental breakfast might be offered on select dates.

The hostel runs a packed daily programme: free walking tours, pub crawls (for an extra charge), evening entertainment, and drinking games. There is a spacious sun terrace with outdoor furniture, a solarium, and table tennis. Inside, guests can use the games room with billiards and board games, or relax in the Netflix lounge. Group nights out to bars and clubs (with free entry for those wearing the wristband) happen every evening, but there are also quiet areas for reading or working.
