GRAN ALAMEDA CENTRO, Malaga

The apartment sits on the main avenue at the southern end of Calle Larios, placing the entire historic centre, shopping streets, and major museums (Picasso Museum at 700 m, Alcazaba at less than 1 km) within a short walk. Malaga Cathedral is 500 m away, and La Malagueta Beach is a 15-minute stroll. The train station (María Zambrano) is a 10-minute walk, and the airport (8 km) can be reached by the C1 train or airport bus that stops virtually at the door. The location scores highly for walkability, with bars, restaurants and the marina all within a few minutes. Higher-floor apartments minimise street noise from the avenue and bus stops; lower-floor rooms may hear traffic in the morning.

Each unit comprises one living room, bedrooms divided by a folding screen (not a full wall), and two bathrooms with either a standard shower or walk-in shower. The main bed is a 160 cm double, the second area has two 80 cm mattresses. A sofa bed is available for additional guests. The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave/oven, hob, kettle, and cookware. Air conditioning, a washing machine, flat-screen TV, and parquet floors are standard. Higher-floor units offer city views from large bay windows. The central bedroom has no window; this layout suits families with young children but may lack privacy for two couples or groups of more than four. With the sofa bed opened, space is tight for six people.

The apartment itself has no dedicated wellness facilities, but the location gives immediate access to Malaga Park (6-minute walk), the marina (10 minutes), and La Malagueta Beach (15 minutes). The historic centre offers museums, shopping, and evening entertainment directly outside the door. For those seeking structured leisure, the city's main cultural attractions, tapas bars, and the beach are all accessible on foot.

Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the apartment. Access is via a smartphone-based key system (link sent before arrival) - no physical key needed. The front desk can be contacted via WhatsApp for help during 10:00-21:00; after-hours self-check-in is possible with the code. Luggage can be left after check-out at a partner facility 300 m away for a fee. Daily housekeeping is not included, but towels and bedding are provided. Accepted payment methods: Visa, Maestro, MasterCard. The building has a lift to all floors and is wheelchair accessible (some units have a roll-in shower). Cots are available on request and at an additional cost.
