As the only hotel on Granville Island, the property places you right in the heart of a lively waterfront neighbourhood. The Granville Island Public Market, artisan boutiques, galleries, and multiple theatres are all within a 5-minute walk. The famous Vancouver seawall runs directly outside the hotel, ideal for walking, running, or cycling. Downtown Vancouver is a short 10-minute bus (W 2nd Ave at Anderson St stop) or Aquabus/False Creek ferry ride away. For airport access, a taxi costs a flat rate of about CAD 31 and takes 25 minutes, or you can take the Canada Line to Olympic Village and connect via bus 50. The hotel is also the closest hotel to the University of British Columbia (UBC) and near Emily Carr University, and is a 10-minute cab ride from the Vancouver cruise terminal. The compact island setting means many attractions are reachable on foot; however, large tour buses cannot pick up on Granville Island, so plan accordingly.

Accommodation categories include Granville Island King and Double rooms (the latter with two double beds sleeping up to 4 adults), Premium Balcony King and Double rooms (all with private balconies overlooking False Creek, Granville Island, or Ron Basford Park), and Superior Waterfront Rooms (king bed plus pull-out sofa, with water and skyline views). The Waterfront Executive Suites (three in total) feature a king bed, queen pull-out sofa, two TVs, a business desk, and floor-to-ceiling windows. The Boardwalk Suite is a corner room with three private balconies, panoramic views, a walk-in rain shower, and the largest bathroom in the hotel. The Pelican Bay Penthouse and False Creek Penthouse each offer a private jacuzzi, fireplace, balcony, and additional living space.
