The motel is located 5 minutes by car from downtown Victoria, 30 km from Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal, and roughly 25 km from Victoria International Airport (about $50-60 CAD by taxi). A bus stop is directly outside the property, providing easy car-free access to the city centre. The Galloping Goose Trail, a 55-km cycling and walking route to Sooke, is just a block away. The surrounding neighbourhood is quiet and residential. Across the street is a popular pub with nightly deals and entertainment. Parking is free and always available on site.

Rooms range from Standard Queen rooms (second floor only, no kitchen) to Apartment Suites and Family Suites with full kitchens and separate bedrooms. Some units also offer optional kitchens for an extra fee. All rooms include air conditioning, heating, carpeted floors, a flat-screen cable TV, a mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, and an electric kettle. Bathrooms have been recently updated with modern showers and good water pressure. Storage and work desks are available in most units. Noise insulation is generally good, but rooms on the ground floor and near common areas may pick up corridor noise. The motel has no elevator, but ground-floor rooms are available for those with mobility needs.

Breakfast is a continental buffet served from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Items include juice, coffee, tea, milk (including non-dairy), oatmeal, cereal, toast, hard-boiled eggs, croissants, muffins, yogurt, and fruit. The breakfast is currently provided as room service - guests fill out an order form at the front desk the night before and it is delivered the next morning. The on-site restaurant and bar are closed. Across the street is a pub with nightly specials and entertainment. Several other dining options are within a short walk, including The Loft Pub and Crows Restaurant (0.5 km).

The motel offers free use of e-bikes, kayaks, and SUPs. These are available in scheduled time slots (9 AM-12, 12-3 PM, 3-6 PM, 6-9 PM) and must be reserved at the front desk. Life jackets are provided. A games room features a pool table, board games, and a communal lounge with free hot drinks available anytime. The Great Room serves as both the breakfast area and a relaxed social space with a TV and seating. For fitness, a small gym with fitness classes, yoga, and locker rooms is available by reservation. Off-site activities like golf (within 3 km), fishing, windsurfing, hiking, and canoeing can be arranged for an additional charge.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. Parking is free and private, on site, and no reservation is needed. The front desk is staffed 24 hours. Luggage storage is available for in-house guests but not after check-out unless you are going directly to the airport. Coin-operated laundry costs $2 per load and takes about 60 minutes. A shuttle service operates from 8 AM to 10 PM, serving the airport, ferry terminal, and downtown on request; it seats a maximum of three passengers and must be arranged in advance. Accessible parking and an electric vehicle charging station are available. The property is not wheelchair accessible due to the lack of an elevator, but second-floor rooms are reachable via a ramp from the back parking lot. Safety features include CCTV, smoke alarms, and key-card access.
