Hotel Details

Location

In the heart of Akasaka, 2 minutes from Akasaka Station and 15 km from Haneda Airport.
The hostel sits in central Tokyo, with Akasaka Station (multiple metro lines) just a 2-minute walk away, giving direct access to Shibuya, Ginza, and Ikebukuro within 15-30 minutes. The area is less frenetic than Shinjuku or Shibuya, with a strong business and dining scene. Plenty of inexpensive restaurants, convenience stores (7-Eleven, FamilyMart), and Don Quijote are within a short walk. 15 minutes from Tokyo Station by train, and accessible from Narita Airport via a single transfer. The neighbourhood is safe, clean, and quiet at night.

Accommodation

Private sleeping pods in a shared dormitory with modern, clean facilities.
Each bed is in its own built-in pod with a privacy shutter, comfortable mattress, bedding, a power outlet, and a reading light. The pod design offers more privacy than a standard bunk bed. The property has about 20 beds, 2 showers, 2 toilets, and 5 sinks. There is a shared lounge with a microwave, fridge, electric kettle, and a free water/coffee machine. Luggage is stored in a hallway with security cameras. The rooms are air-conditioned and the interior is well-maintained, with the building located on the 5th floor with a lift. Street noise is minimal, though noise from other visitors depends on mutual respect. A fresh towel is provided daily.

Dining

Free coffee and water in the lounge; no restaurant on site.
The hostel does not have its own restaurant or breakfast service. A self-service area provides free coffee, water machine, microwave, fridge, and electric kettle. The surrounding street is packed with inexpensive Japanese eateries, ramen shops, izakayas, and convenience stores within a 1-minute walk. Restaurants such as Ikinari Steak, Shabu-shabu Onyasai, and Keika Saro are around 500 metres away. There is a 7-Eleven directly adjacent.

Leisure

No spa or pool; the shared lounge and TV area provide relaxation space.
The hostel does not offer wellness or fitness facilities. The shared lounge/TV area, free coffee, and free water station serve as the main leisure space. For recreation, many bars, restaurants, and a Don Quijote store are within walking distance.

Amenities

Free WiFi, free laundry, luggage storage, and 24/7 security cameras.
Internet access is free throughout the property. Laundry is available on-site (free) as well as at a nearby coin laundry. Luggage can be stored before check-in or after checkout for guests with a confirmed booking. The property is non-smoking. No parking is available. Self-check-in uses a code provided before arrival. Daily towel exchange and daily cleaning of bathrooms and common areas are standard. The host is bilingual (Japanese/English) and can be contacted for recommendations.
