HAMPTON INN COLUMBUS-NORTH, Columbus

The hotel sits 5 km from Columbus Airport and close to Interstate 185, making it easy to reach other parts of the city. The surrounding area is safe for walking and offers a variety of dining options within 0.3-0.5 km, including Taco Bell, IHOP, Texas Roadhouse, and Mexican restaurants. Free public parking is available on site (no reservation needed), but the lot can fill up later in the evening. No airport shuttle is provided, so a taxi or ride-share is required for airport transfers.

Standard rooms offer a seating area, ironing facilities, and a private bathroom with a shower. Bed options include king or double beds, and connecting rooms are available (king + double or king + king suites). A few rooms have a spa bath that is operational but designed for one person with a circular water flow (no bubbles). Recent renovations have updated many rooms, though some furnishings and finishes remain dated. Air conditioning performance has been inconsistent; requesting a verified working unit at check-in is recommended. Rooms do not have balconies.

Breakfast includes a hot buffet with eggs, bacon or sausage, plus fruit, yogurt, and pastries. Coffee and juice are available, though coffee quality can vary. The breakfast staff keep the area tidy. No restaurant or bar is on site, but a dozen casual dining options are within a 5-minute walk: Taco Bell (0.5 km), IHOP (0.5 km), Texas Roadhouse (0.5 km), El Vaquero Mexican (0.5 km), and more.

WiFi is complimentary in all areas. The 24-hour front desk provides express check-in/out and luggage storage. A business centre with free fax/photocopying and meeting/banquet facilities (additional charge) is available. Daily housekeeping is free; dry cleaning and laundry incur a fee. Safety features include 24-hour security, CCTV, key card access, and in-room safe. The property is wheelchair accessible with lowered sinks, grab rails, and Braille signage. Pets are allowed with a nonrefundable fee (dogs confirmed). Parking is free public on site with no reservation needed, plus accessible and street parking.
