The hotel sits literally across the freeway from LaGuardia Airport - a 10-minute walk or a quick free shuttle ride from the terminal. The free shuttle also drops passengers at the Mets-Willets Point subway stop (7 train), providing direct access to midtown Manhattan in under 30 minutes. Citi Field (home of the Mets) is a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute drive, and the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is a 10-minute drive via the shuttle. Flushing Meadows Corona Park is within a short drive. The neighboring area is residential with limited dining options, but menus from local delivery restaurants are available at the front desk. Street parking is extremely scarce; the limited on-site lot and garage (paid) are the best options.

Guest rooms are spacious for an airport hotel, but furnishings show wear: some units have dented walls, worn carpets, and dated decor. Most rooms include a flat-screen TV, a coffee maker, ironing facilities, air conditioning, and a direct-dial telephone. Noise can be an issue - internal hallway sounds and neighboring room activity are audible, but soundproofing from the airport itself is strong. The bathrooms are mostly clean and recently remodeled in some cases, but water pressure and hot water availability can be inconsistent, particularly on higher floors. Some rooms lack a mini-fridge and microwave (a fridge can be brought upon request). An AM/FM alarm clock is standard. Rollaway beds are available at no extra charge.

The complimentary breakfast includes a rotating menu of eggs, omelets, waffles, breakfast potatoes, fruit, yogurt, and toast. The breakfast room can get crowded, especially between 7:30am and 9am, so plan accordingly. There is no on-site restaurant, but the adjoining DoubleTree hotel has a bar and grill offering classic American bar food and is open for lunch and dinner. Several nearby dining options include Bisoux, Wibar, and Crust (all within a 0.5 km walk). A gift shop and snack area are available in the lobby for drinks and light snacks.

The indoor swimming pool is open year-round but has been closed since early 2020 due to local health mandates with no announced reopening date. The fitness center, also situated in the adjacent sister property (LaGuardia Plaza), is newly renovated and open daily from 6am to 10pm. When operational, the pool area is shared with guests of the neighboring DoubleTree and is housed in a separate building - guests need to walk outside to access it. No spa, hot tub, whirlpool, or sauna is available on the property.

The free airport shuttle runs to and from LaGuardia Airport only (not JFK). For JFK, the hotel recommends ride-shares or taxis, as there is no direct shuttle or arranged transfer. Wi-Fi is free throughout public areas and is available in rooms. The fitness center is open 24 hours and is located next door at the LaGuardia Plaza. A business center with three computers is available but is dated and can be unreliable. Dry-cleaning service is available (sent out in the morning and returned by evening). Luggage storage is offered before check-in and after checkout. The front desk can provide a fridge upon request. Parking: on-site paid parking is $30 per day; a limited number of free spots are available at the front on a first-come, first-served basis. Electric vehicle charging stations are present but have been reported as non-functional.
