HAMPTON INN & SUITES CHARLOTTE ARROWOOD RD, Charlotte

The hotel is situated on Arrowood Road, just off the interstate, making it convenient for highway travel and a practical stop for road trips. It is 8 km from Charlotte Douglas International Airport and 8 km from Carowinds Amusement Park and Billy Graham Library. Southpark Mall is 10 km away and Bank of America Stadium 13 km. A Starbucks is 1 km from the property, and a variety of restaurants and fast-food outlets are within walking distance. The area is car-dependent, but free on-site parking removes parking friction. Vehicle break-ins are a known recurring issue in the area - parking under well-lit areas and removing all items from your car is strongly advised.

Rooms are described as spacious, with some offering a living area separated by a door in the suite-style layout. All rooms include a mini-fridge, microwave, tea/coffee maker, flat-screen TV (cable), and free Wi-Fi. Air conditioning is available, but some units have been reported as noisy and not fully cooling the room. The property offers family rooms, non-smoking rooms, and allergy-free rooms. Rooms have a private bathroom with a shower; some king suites include a jacuzzi tub. While some rooms have been noted as dated or in need of upgrades, many find them spacious and comfortable. During renovations, some rooms have experienced issues with hot water, and pest problems (bed bugs, roaches) have been reported in several rooms. It is advisable to inspect the room thoroughly upon arrival.

The outdoor swimming pool is seasonal and operates daily from 10:00 to 20:00 during summer months. It features a fence around the pool, sun loungers, beach chairs, umbrellas, and pool/beach towels. The pool area has been described as large and clean when accessible. The fitness centre is free to use, but during the renovation period it has been closed or gutted. There is no spa, sauna, hot tub, or indoor pool. During renovations, construction noise and disruption may affect the enjoyment of the leisure areas.
