Ikebukuro Station serves multiple train and subway lines, making travel across Tokyo straightforward and quick. Shinjuku is reachable in 16 minutes by train, and the Meiji Shrine and Harajuku shopping district are a 30-minute train-and-walk journey. The immediate area is well-supplied with convenience stores (Lawson opposite), 24-hour supermarkets, and a wide variety of restaurants and cafes within a short walk. The hotel sits on a quieter street, so while transport access is excellent, overnight noise is minimal. Those arriving from Narita or Haneda should plan their route via train; no airport shuttle is available.

Each room features a private en-suite bathroom with a bath, toilet, and slippers. The air-conditioned rooms include a refrigerator, electric kettle (available on request at check-in), flat-screen TV, and safety deposit box. Amenities such as a hairdryer, shampoo, body soap, and coffee cups can be borrowed upon request. Bed sizes are comfortable, and the room layout provides enough space for two medium suitcases to be opened simultaneously - unusual for this price category in Tokyo. Rooms are cleaned daily on request, and the interior is well-maintained and quiet, with effective sound insulation. No balcony is available. Extra bedding for a third guest is possible but with additional charges and no extra bed.

Hatoya Hotel does not operate a restaurant or serve breakfast. However, the location is excellent for independent dining. Within 300 metres there are eight restaurants including ramen, okonomiyaki, teppanyaki, and Thai cuisine, plus many more options a few minutes further. A convenience store right across the street and a 24-hour supermarket two minutes away make it easy to pick up breakfast supplies or snacks. Visitors who prefer a hot morning meal can find numerous cafes and bakeries in the area. The hotel provides an electric kettle and coffee cups for in-room drink preparation.

Wi-Fi is free and available in all areas, with reported fast speeds suitable for remote work. Luggage storage is free and available from 09:00; the hotel can accept prepaid luggage deliveries sent several days before check-in. Daily housekeeping is provided on request. Coin laundry (open 24/7) and a shoe cleaner are located right next to the hotel entrance, making it convenient for longer stays. A drinks vending machine is on site.
