Free street parking is also available alongside the on-site parking, making the location suitable for those arriving by car. Secure bike storage can be arranged in the car park shed.

The hotel offers a variety of en-suite rooms, with most located in the main Victorian townhouse. Two small double rooms are situated in an external lodge on the ground floor, each with a step into the room - these are suitable for those who prefer to avoid stairs, though space is more compact. Rooms vary in size and some are cosy; bathrooms are built into the room space and are therefore compact. All rooms include a hairdryer, ironing facilities (available on request), and tea/coffee making supplies replenished during daily housekeeping. Beds are consistently noted for comfort, with quality bed linen. Rooms are heated only from evening until early morning, so daytime temperatures can be cooler. Windows in some rooms cannot be opened, and the property has no balcony. For road-facing rooms, sound insulation from the street is generally good, though light sleepers may still prefer a quieter room. Luggage storage is available free of charge before check-in or after check-out.

Breakfast is served Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 09:30, and Saturday/Sunday from 08:30 to 10:00. The menu includes a full Scottish breakfast (including haggis, black pudding and poached eggs), along with fresh fruit, cereal, toast with homemade jam, and unlimited tea and coffee. If you need to leave before breakfast service begins, cold options such as cereal and fruit may be available by prior arrangement - cooked food cannot be prepared before 08:30.
