The nearest underground and city rail station is 900 metres away, providing direct rail connections to BER Airport via the S45 line. The Felixstraße bus stop is opposite the hotel, with buses reaching Kurfürstendamm in around 25 minutes. The immediate area is a business and industrial district; a REWE supermarket is within a short walk, and a sushi restaurant is 0.5 km away. The neighbourhood is functional but less attractive for evening strolls; taxis are recommended for late-night arrivals from the station area.

Rooms are described as spacious, with a sitting area, carpeted floor, minibar, flat-screen TV, and an en suite bathroom with hairdryer. Some rooms feature a terrace and views of Tempelhof Airport. However, the property is older and many rooms show significant wear: bathrooms are dated, fixtures such as bidets are often broken, and maintenance issues like loose tiles, mould, leaking shower trays and poor ventilation are common. Rooms facing the A100 motorway can be very noisy; the windows provide limited soundproofing, and traffic noise can be heard even at night. The hotel has no air conditioning, supplying only a fan, which can make summer stays uncomfortable. Some rooms retain a traditional key rather than a keycard. The lift is operational. For a quiet stay, request a room away from the motorway; for a short budget trip, the basic comfort suffices.

Breakfast is available at an additional charge and includes bread, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, fruit and hot drinks. The selection is adequate but not elaborate; some find it overpriced for what is offered. The breakfast room has a pleasant atmosphere and a sun terrace facing the former airport.
