HILTON GARDEN INN CALGARY AIRPORT, Calgary

The Hilton Garden Inn Calgary Airport sits in the Horizon industrial district, directly across the street from the Aero Space Museum (6-minute walk) and near the TELUS Spark museum and Calgary Zoo. Downtown Calgary is a 15-minute drive away, and the Calgary Tower is 11 km from the hotel. The free 24/7 on-demand airport shuttle covers all arrivals and departures. A public bus stop is at the end of the street, but there is no shuttle to downtown or the Stampede grounds; taxis and ride-shares are readily available. Several restaurants, including Cactus Club Cafe and Edo Japan, are within 1 km, making it easy to find dining without driving.

All rooms are air-conditioned and feature a microwave, refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, work desk, flat-screen TV, free WiFi, and a private bathroom with a shower. Some rooms include a sofa bed and seating area. Suites offer a separate living room with a pull-out sofa bed, wet bar, and larger work desk. Rooms with two queen beds or a single king bed are available. Standard rooms have a small chair and desk rather than a full sitting area. While many rooms are described as clean and spacious, some have dated furniture, stained linens or towels, and maintenance issues such as non-working air conditioning (HVAC system has required parts at times), slow WiFi, and damaged window blinds. Road-facing rooms can let in noise. Room lighting in some units is dim, and the bedding can vary in comfort. Light sleepers may want to request a quiet room away from adjoining doors.

The indoor swimming pool is sizable (1.5 m at the deepest point) and open year-round. The hot tub is available, though jets may not always be fully operational. The fitness centre offers basic cardio and strength equipment. Children's swimming lessons may take place in the early evening, occasionally limiting pool access. No appointment is needed for the pool or hot tub.

Self-parking is free for hotel guests, with no reservation needed. Long-term parking is available for CAD 9 per day and must be arranged at the front desk. The complimentary airport shuttle operates 24/7 on demand; call the hotel after arriving for pick-up instructions. WiFi is free throughout the property. The business centre has computers, and luggage storage is complimentary. Guest laundry facilities are available (laundry pods sold individually). The property is wheelchair accessible. The front desk is staffed 24 hours and offers express check-in/out, concierge service, and currency exchange. A safety deposit box is available. Meeting/banquet facilities and a minimarket on site add convenience.
