HILTON GARDEN INN CORPUS CHRISTI, Corpus Christi

The hotel is located near major roads providing access to Bob Hall Pier (21 km), Mustang Island State Park (24 km), and Port Aransas Marina (46 km). The immediate area offers several fast-food and casual dining options such as Whataburger, Popeyes, and Applebee's, all within a 5-minute walk. A Cinemark movie theater is also next door, and a shopping mall is a short drive away. For those visiting Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, the location is considered convenient. There is no airport shuttle service available.

All rooms include a private bathroom, air conditioning, heating, a work desk, a flat-screen TV, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a tea and coffee maker. A limited number of wheelchair-accessible rooms have walk-in showers. However, the condition of the rooms is highly inconsistent. Repeated issues include strong moldy or mildewed smells, water stains on ceilings, dirty or stained carpets and upholstery, and poorly maintained bathrooms with low water pressure. Some guests reported that mattresses lack protectors and show visible stains, while pillows are often flat and uncomfortable. Noise from neighboring rooms can be an issue due to thin walls. The building's exterior and hallways are also noted as poorly maintained, with stained carpets and malfunctioning locks on external doors.

The Garden Grille offers a breakfast buffet for $15 USD per person and dinner service. The breakfast is a basic continental buffet, and has been frequently described as overpriced and with food often being served cold or of low quality. Kids' meals are available for an additional charge. The bar serves beer and wine but is reportedly not open on weekends. There is also a 24-hour coffee station and a vending machine for drinks and snacks. The location is a significant strength for dining, with many restaurants, including Whataburger, Taco Bell, and Applebee's, all within walking distance.

The outdoor swimming pool is open year-round but is a notable point of concern. Reports indicate the pool is often closed due to maintenance issues or, when open, is dirty with cloudy water and debris. The fitness centre is free for guests to use. There is no hot tub or spa on the property. Given the unreliable state of the pool, guests should not book this hotel with the expectation of using it.

The hotel provides a number of services including a 24-hour front desk, free luggage storage, and express check-in and check-out. A business centre and meeting/banquet facilities are available for an additional charge. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi, a minimarket on-site, a safety deposit box, and laundry/dry-cleaning services for a fee. Parking is available on-site for $5.12 USD per day. The hotel features a lift and facilities for disabled guests. Housekeeping service is inconsistent, with many reports of rooms not being cleaned daily and trash left in hallways. While some front desk staff are noted as friendly and helpful, others are described as indifferent or rude.
