The Hilton Garden Inn is situated in the heart of Orlando's International Drive corridor, surrounded by major tourist attractions, business offices (Lockheed Martin, Mitsubishi), and shopping destinations like Orlando Premium Outlets and Mall at Millennia. The Orange County Convention Center is a 13-minute drive away. Universal Studios is walkable in about 20 minutes or a very short drive; the free hotel shuttle makes it even easier. A five-minute drive reaches Universal's parking area, and Icon Park with numerous restaurants is just minutes away. Bay Hill Golf Course is close for tournament visitors. The property is well-connected by highways, making it convenient for reaching downtown Orlando or the Kia Center.

All guest rooms were fully renovated in May 2024, featuring fresh colors, new furniture, and upgraded bathrooms with walk-in showers (some rooms have a bathtub with grab bars). In-room amenities include a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, hairdryer, ironing facilities, and a wall safe. King rooms can accommodate a sofa bed; rollaway beds are available for $10 per night. Double-bed rooms have the beds in the same room; connecting rooms can be requested subject to availability. Rooms facing the pool and Tiki Bar can experience evening noise from music and chatter; backside rooms (facing the parking lot) are quieter. The newly renovated rooms are noted for being spacious, very clean, and comfortable, though some find the beds firm and pillows very soft. Air conditioning is adjustable, and blackout shades help with sleep. No rooms have balconies.

Breakfast is a hot cook-to-order buffet offered Monday to Friday from 6:00 to 9:30 AM and weekends 7:00 to 10:30 AM. When not included in the room rate, the buffet costs $12.95 per adult and $7.95 for children 10 and under (plus tax). The buffet includes bacon, eggs, waffles, pastries, fresh fruit, and other hot items. The on-site restaurant also serves dinner with a menu of American cuisine in a family-friendly setting. The Tiki Bar, open daily from 5 PM to 10 PM, offers a relaxed outdoor atmosphere with food and tropical drinks. A 24-hour snack shop is available for quick purchases. Several chain restaurants (Denny's, IHOP, Red Lobster) are within a 0.5 km walk.

The outdoor pool is heated and open year-round, surrounded by sun loungers, umbrellas, and free cabanas for shade. A large hot tub/jacuzzi is adjacent. The Tiki Bar operates daily from 5 PM to 10 PM, serving drinks and food, making the pool area a popular evening hangout. A state-of-the-art fitness centre is available to guests at no extra charge. There is no spa or wellness centre on the property. The pool and hot tub are noted as being clean and well-maintained, though pool towels can sometimes be in short supply.

The hotel offers complimentary wired and wireless internet in all areas. Free on-site parking is available with plenty of spaces. Reception is open 24 hours and provides express check-in/out. Luggage storage is free. Laundry facilities are on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th floors (8 AM-10 PM). The free shuttle to Universal Studios operates daily with departures at 7:50 AM, 9:05 AM, 10:20 AM, and 11:35 AM, and returns at 5:20 PM, 6:40 PM, and 8:00 PM. The shuttle is wheelchair-accessible (arrange at the front desk). Pets are allowed (max 2 per room) with a $50 one-time, non-refundable deposit; emotional support animals are accepted. Business services include fax/photocopying and meeting/banquet facilities. Safety features include key card access, CCTV, smoke alarms, and in-room safes. The property is wheelchair accessible with facilities for disabled guests.
