ROSEN INN INTERNATIONAL NEAR THE PARKS, Orlando

The hotel sits on Sand Lake Road, with direct access to the I-4 expressway, making driving to Universal Studios (5 min), SeaWorld (7 km), and Walt Disney World (13 km) straightforward. More than a dozen restaurants - including Burger King, Perkins, and Taverna Yamas - are within a 5-minute walk along International Drive. The I-Ride Trolley stops nearby, and a free scheduled shuttle runs to Universal Studios. Orlando International Airport is 24 km away; expect a taxi/rideshare cost of around US$60. The area is walkable for dining and basic shopping, with a Walgreens a 5-7 minute walk. Parking on site costs US$10/day and while spaces are ample, some rooms face the main road where traffic noise is constant.

Rooms at Rosen Inn International are functional and include a microwave, small refrigerator, coffee-making facilities, a flat-screen cable TV, ironing equipment, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Bedding is typically two double/full-size beds - comfortable but smaller than standard queen, so visitors who prefer a larger sleeping surface may want to request a king room. Bathrooms are private with a bath or shower. Air conditioning is effective but the unit can be noisy; some rooms feel dated with dark wood furnishings and carpet. Road-facing rooms pick up constant traffic noise, so light sleepers are advised to request a room overlooking the pool or courtyard. Some buildings lack lifts, and rooms there require carrying luggage up stairs. Housekeeping changes towels daily, but requests for additional supplies (toilet paper, bin emptying) may need to be proactive. Luggage storage is available free of charge for guests arriving early or departing late.

The property features two large heated outdoor pools with shallow ends for children, pool towels provided, and sun loungers and umbrellas around them. Both pools are open year-round from 09:00 to 22:00. A separate kids' pool is also available. The fitness centre is small but functional with free weights and cardio machines. For leisure, the hotel offers a games room with billiards and darts, a children's playground, and a picnic area with outdoor furniture. Happy hour is available at the property. There is no spa or wellness centre.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property but can be unreliable in some rooms - those needing a strong connection may want to use the shared lounge or lobby area. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/out, tour desk services, and a safe deposit box. Luggage storage is free and can be useful for late departures. A business centre with fax/photocopying is free, and meeting/banquet facilities are available for an additional charge. Daily housekeeping is complimentary and includes towel changes, but additional cleaning services (dry cleaning, laundry, ironing) are available for a fee. Accessibility features include wheelchair-accessible rooms, lifts (though not in all buildings), Braille signage, grab rails, and emergency cords in bathrooms. Pets are allowed with possible charges. On-site security is present 24/7 with CCTV and key card access. A minimarket is on site, along with vending machines for drinks and snacks. The hotel accepts American Express, Visa, Diners Club, JCB, Discover, and MasterCard.
