The hotel sits on Boulevard Voltaire in the lively 11th arrondissement, a 13-minute walk from Place de la Bastille and 17 minutes from Place de la Nation. Père Lachaise Cemetery is 700 metres away. The immediate area is packed with restaurants, cafés, bakeries, a supermarket and a pharmacy. Charles de Gaulle Airport is reachable via RER B to Châtelet - Les Halles, then metro line 9 to Voltaire. Gare du Nord is a direct metro ride on line 5 to République, then line 9. The hotel has no parking, but public parking is available a few minutes' walk away on Avenue Ledru Rollin.

Rooms are between 10 and 13 m², finished with parquet or laminate flooring and typically feature a red feature wall. All rooms have a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee facilities. Some rooms have a balcony. A fan is provided in warmer months, but there is no air conditioning. Windows can be opened in most rooms; inner rooms may be harder to ventilate. Sound insulation is basic - rooms facing the street can be noisy, and doors in the corridors slam loudly. The lift is very small. Daily cleaning includes bed-making, towel replacement and surface tidying. A kettle with tea and sugar is restocked daily.
