HISTORIC STAR MOTEL, Sedona

Situated in the heart of Uptown Sedona, the Historic Star Motel puts you within steps of numerous restaurants (PussyCat Gelato, Outlaw Grille, Black Cow Cafe, and Mago Cafe are all 0.5 km away) and souvenir shops like Sedona Memories. The main shopping and dining area is essentially at your doorstep, so you can park the car and explore on foot. For outdoor enthusiasts, popular hiking trails are a short drive from the motel. The nearest airport is Flagstaff Pulliam Airport, 31 km away. Note that traffic on the adjacent main road can be audible, especially from rooms facing the street.

The Historic Star Motel does not have a restaurant or serve breakfast on-site. Most rooms are equipped with a kitchenette (refrigerator, microwave, tea/coffee maker) and the suite includes a full kitchen, allowing you to prepare meals. The motel's central Uptown location places you within a 0.5 km walk of numerous dining options ranging from casual cafes to upscale restaurants, such as Outlaw Grille, Black Cow Cafe, Mago Cafe, and Thai Palace Uptown. This is ideal for travellers who prefer to explore local eateries rather than rely on hotel dining.

The property does not have a swimming pool, spa, or fitness centre. For leisure and recreation, the area offers complimentary hiking opportunities, which are a popular activity in Sedona. The motel's location places you close to the main trailheads, making it a practical base for outdoor adventurers.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Free private parking is provided on site, but a reservation is required, and spaces can be limited. The motel operates with contactless, self-check-in; you receive a door code by email or text prior to arrival. There is no staffed front desk, but management is responsive via text message and phone. Additional facilities include a picnic area with outdoor furniture, express check-in/check-out, and a private entrance. The property is adults-only (minimum age 21) and has a no-smoking policy throughout. Safety features include key access, CCTV outside, and smoke alarms. Handheld clothing steamers are available on request.
