The resort is located on the quieter west side of Galveston Island, away from the busy Seawall Boulevard crowds. This makes for a more relaxed beach experience, yet the main attractions - Moody Gardens, Pleasure Pier, and Schlitterbahn Waterpark - are within a 10-15 minute drive. Restaurants and a Kroger grocery store are about 8 km away. Downtown Houston is an hour's drive northwest, and Hobby Airport is a 72 km, 50-minute drive. Free on-site parking is available, but no airport shuttle operates, so a car is recommended for exploring the area.

Choose from one- or two-bedroom villas, with some units offering spa tubs and Gulf views. Each unit includes a fully equipped kitchen with full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, cookware, and dishes, plus a dining area. The living room has a sofa bed and flat-screen TV. Free Wi-Fi is provided. Note that room condition can vary - some units have been recently renovated, while others show signs of age. If a specific view (beach or pool) is important, request it at booking; allocation is based on availability. Select rooms have a balcony, but balcony size is limited.

The fully equipped kitchen in each villa includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and cookware, making it easy to prepare meals. The on-site marketplace offers limited convenience items. For a wider selection, a Kroger grocery store is a 5-minute drive away. The resort is in a quiet area, so driving to restaurants is necessary - the nearest dining is about 3 km away, and the Seawall area with many restaurants is a 10-minute drive. No room service is available.

The outdoor pool (open 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM) is a highlight, with both a shallow end and a pool with views. Pool towels and sun loungers are provided, but seating can be scarce during busy times. The hot tub is also popular and well-maintained. For fitness, there is a small on-site gym with elliptical, free weights, stationary bike, and treadmill; a free pass to West End Gym (5 km away) provides more equipment. Additional recreation includes a half-basketball court, shuffleboard, volleyball, horseshoes, and a game room with arcade. A BBQ grill and picnic area are available. Note that there is no spa or wellness centre on the property.

Parking is free but requires a reservation - spaces cannot be guaranteed without one. The business center offers printing, copying, and scanning. Guest laundry facilities (self-service) are available, and limited housekeeping is provided. Express check-in/out is offered. Accessible features include wheelchair-accessible routes, accessible parking, ramps, visual alarms, and portable bathtub seats. Safety features include CCTV, smoke alarms, and key card access. No airport shuttle is available, no pets are allowed (service animals permitted), and the property is smoke-free. Elevators are on each side of the building but one is frequently out of order.
