Northlake Mall is a 5-minute drive, and major venues like Spectrum Center, Bank of America Stadium, and the Charlotte Convention Center are a short 10-15 minute drive. For race fans, the Charlotte Motor Speedway is a 15-minute drive. The surrounding area also offers a nightclub within walking distance and multiple shopping centers.

The hotel has at least four floors around an open-air atrium. Rooms are equipped with work desks, blackout shades, safe, and free high-speed WiFi. Beds are consistently comfortable, and rooms are generally clean. However, some rooms may show wear with dated furniture or a musty odor, and bathroom fans and water temperature can be inconsistent. Rooms on lower floors or near the main entrance (e.g., room 213) may experience more noise. A limited number of accessible and connecting rooms are available.
