HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS LOS ANGELES LAX AIRPORT BY IHG, Los Angeles

The hotel sits on Airport Boulevard, directly across from a McDonald's and adjacent to a 7-Eleven, making quick snacks easily accessible. Several car rental return locations are within a 5-minute walk, ideal for pre-departure drop-offs. For longer journeys, public bus routes (112 and 212) run nearby into downtown Los Angeles. The surrounding block has limited walkable dining options aside from fast food, but the free shuttle can transport guests to restaurants, bars, and supermarkets within a 2 km radius. The convention center, SoFi Stadium, and Santa Monica Pier are all a short drive away.

Rooms are spacious and well-maintained, with options including king suites that have a separate living area with a pull-out sofa and some units featuring a spa bath or roll-in shower. All rooms include a desk, free Wi-Fi, an electric kettle, hair dryer, and an alarm clock. The entire property is non-smoking with heating and air conditioning. Road-facing rooms and rooms near the elevator can pick up external noise, so light sleepers may benefit from requesting a quiet floor or a room away from the street. Soundproofing between rooms is minimal, but the hotel is far enough from the airport that aircraft noise is generally not an issue.

The breakfast area is stocked with scrambled eggs, omelets, sausages, potatoes, pancakes, fresh fruit, yogurts, breads, muffins, juices, coffee, and tea. The buffet is replenished frequently by friendly staff. Breakfast service uses disposable plates and cutlery. There is no on-site restaurant or bar for lunch or dinner, but the hotel has a small gift shop with snacks and drinks. Several fast-food options (McDonald's, Sizzler) and a 7-Eleven are within a 2-minute walk. For a wider variety, the hotel's free shuttle can take guests to additional restaurants within 2 km.

The outdoor swimming pool operates typically from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM, providing a refreshing option after a flight or day out. The adjacent hot tub / jacuzzi offers a relaxing soak. The free fitness centre is available 24/7 for guests who want to keep up their workout routine. No spa or additional wellness facilities are on site. The pool area is basic but clean and well-maintained.
