CANDLEWOOD SUITES ANAHEIM - RESORT AREA BY IHG, Anaheim

Set in the best-rated area of Anaheim, the Candlewood Suites is a 5-minute drive from both Disneyland and Angel Stadium, and about 40 minutes from Los Angeles International Airport by car. The ART shuttle ($6/day adult, $2.50/day child) picks up at the end of the driveway and provides direct access to the Disney theme parks. For those on foot, the Toy Story parking lot and the Disneyland entrance are roughly a 20-minute walk away. Numerous restaurants-including California Fish Grill, Del Taco, The Cheesecake Factory, and McCormick & Schmick's Grille-are within 0.3-0.5 km. A 7-Eleven is also within walking distance, and the property has good freeway access for exploring wider Orange County.

Accommodation includes studio and one-bedroom suite layouts. All rooms feature a kitchen with full-sized refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, and cookware, along with a private bathroom (tub or shower), hairdryer, free toiletries, flat-screen TV with satellite channels, work desk, and air conditioning. One-bedroom suites offer a separate living area with a recliner, while studios are open-plan. Beds are described as comfortable, though the queen bed in standard studios is noted as compact; two-double-bed rooms are available but not queen-size. Noise can be an issue in road-facing rooms, near elevators, or on lower floors due to foot traffic, hallway conversations, and early service vehicles. Motion-sensor bathroom lights may turn off during showers. Many rooms provide views of the nightly Disney fireworks. No rooms have a balcony.

There is no on-site restaurant, bar, or breakfast service. Each room includes a fully equipped kitchen (full-sized fridge, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, cookware, utensils) allowing guests to prepare their own meals. Free coffee is available 24/7 in the lobby. The Cupboard convenience store in the lobby sells snacks, drinks, and basic groceries. For dining out, numerous restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, including California Fish Grill, Del Taco, The Cheesecake Factory, McCormick & Schmick's Grille, and Fire + Ice. A 7-Eleven is also a short walk away for additional supplies. The property's BBQ grills (first-come, first-served) offer an outdoor cooking option on the terrace.

The outdoor heated swimming pool is open seasonally (typically warm months) and is equipped with pool/beach towels. The fitness centre is available from 7am to 10pm and includes cardio equipment. For leisure, the property offers board games/puzzles and BBQ facilities (gas grills on a first-come, first-served basis) on the outdoor terrace with garden furniture. There is no spa or wellness centre on-site. The pool and gym are both free for guests to use.
