HOLIDAY INN NEWARK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Newark

All rooms feature soundproof walls, air conditioning, a seating area with cable TV, free Wi-Fi, a mini-refrigerator, and a Keurig coffee-maker. Private bathrooms include a bath, hairdryer, and Dove toiletries. Some rooms offer two queen beds, others a single king; wheelchair-accessible rooms with roll-in showers and grab rails are available. The beds are described as very comfortable, though the queen size may feel short for people over 1.74 m. A common concern is noise from corridors, exit doors, and adjacent rooms; requesting a room away from elevators, exit doors, and high-traffic areas helps ensure a quieter stay. The renovation completed in April 2022 means the decor and finishes feel fresh, though isolated reports note occasional maintenance issues.

Ted's Food Drink Lounge is open from 7:00 AM to midnight, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner with an American menu that includes vegetarian options. A separate 24-hour cafe serves coffee, packaged snacks, and light bites around the clock. The breakfast buffet ($19 per person if not included) is available weekdays 6:30-10:00 and weekends 7:00-10:00; it includes hot items, pastries, and cereal, though the selection can feel limited. No room service is offered, but the cafe and restaurant cover most meal needs. The hotel is in an isolated industrial area with no walkable restaurants, so on-site dining is the most practical option.

The on-site fitness center provides basic exercise equipment for guest use. There is no swimming pool, spa, hot tub, or sauna at this property. The hotel does offer a garden and a sun terrace with outdoor furniture and a picnic area for fresh-air breaks. Those seeking extensive wellness or leisure facilities may want to plan their stay accordingly, as the hotel is focused on transit-friendly, practical amenities rather than resort-style recreation.

The front desk is staffed 24/7 and offers express check-in/out, concierge, an ATM, and luggage storage (subject to availability). Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. A business center, meeting/banquet facilities (for a fee), and fax/photocopying are on site. The free 24-hour airport shuttle runs every 30 minutes between the hotel and Airport Station P4. Additional services include daily housekeeping (on request), 24-hour security with CCTV and key card access, laundry facilities, a vending machine for drinks and snacks, and a minimarket on site. Parking costs $21 per day and must be reserved in advance. The property is wheelchair accessible with features such as auditory guidance, lower bathroom sinks, raised toilets, grab rails, and tactile signs.
