HOMEWOOD SUITES BY HILTON ORLANDO AIRPORT, Orlando

The hotel sits 5 km (about 5 minutes) from MCO, making it a practical choice for early departures, late arrivals, and layovers. A free airport shuttle runs 4am-12pm and 4pm-12am; call the hotel to request pick-up. The neighbourhood is built for convenience: Carrabba's, Bonchon, LongHorn Steakhouse, and Hooters are within 0.3-1 km on foot, and an IHOP and Denny's are also within walking distance. Interstate access is immediate for reaching attractions such as Florida Mall (11 km), Universal Studios Florida (19 km), and Walt Disney World Resort (roughly 30 km by car/Lyft). A bus stop near the hotel provides a route to Port Canaveral, useful for cruise connections. Parking on-site is US$10/day with reservation recommended because the lot can fill up.

All rooms are suites or studios featuring a kitchen with stovetop, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and tea/coffee maker. Each unit includes air conditioning, a seating area with sofa bed, flat-screen TV with HDMI input, and ironing facilities. Bed configurations vary: two-queen-bedroom suites and king suites with sofa beds are common. The two-bedroom/two-bath suites have three TVs. Room condition can vary by floor-some furnishings and carpets show wear, and some air conditioning units are noisier than others. Rooms on higher floors and away from the basketball court tend to be quieter. No rooms have private balconies, and windows may not open in all units. Bathrooms include a tub/shower combination with safety bar, and complimentary toiletries. Earplugs may help light sleepers in rooms near the pool or lower floors.

Breakfast is served daily (typically 6:00-9:00am, can end earlier on weekdays) and includes eggs, breakfast meat (often pork sausage or chicken sausage), oatmeal/porridge, chia pudding, fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, bread/English muffins, hot coffee, and juice. The buffet is self-service and is replenished by staff. There is no on-site restaurant, bar, or room service; dinner options are available at neighbouring restaurants (Carrabb's, LongHorn Steakhouse, and others). A minimarket in the lobby sells snacks, drinks, and basic sundries. On Wednesday evenings the hotel hosts a free social reception with soup, salad, beer, and wine-a popular perk for mid-week stays. For longer stays requiring dinner, the walkable restaurant strip eliminates the need for a car.

The outdoor pool is open year-round and surrounded by sun loungers and umbrellas. A basketball court is located on the property; rooms near it may hear early-morning play. The fitness centre provides treadmills, weights, and free weights-some equipment has been reported out of service periodically. An outdoor fireplace and barbecue/picnic area are available for guest use. Pool towels are provided at the front desk. The hotel does not have a spa, hot tub, or sauna.
