Downtown Asheville's shops and attractions are a quick 5-minute drive away. The Biltmore Estate main entrance is roughly 15 minutes by car, plus another 15-20 minutes once on the estate grounds. University of North Carolina Asheville is an 8-minute drive, and Asheville Municipal Golf Course is 5 km away. With ample free parking and central access, a car is the most convenient way to explore the area.

Suites are designed for extended stays and come with a fully equipped kitchenette: full-size refrigerator, microwave, two-burner stovetop, dishwasher, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. All suites have a separate living room with a sofa bed and a TV, plus a second TV in the bedroom. One-bedroom king suites offer a bathtub/shower combination, a door between living and sleeping areas, and an easy chair with ottoman. Queen suites with two queen beds in the bedroom also include a fold-out sofa bed in the living room. Studio suites have an open layout but no easy chair. Hearing- and mobility-accessible suites are available with adapted bathrooms and visual alarms. Rooms were renovated in winter 2016-2017 and are described as clean, quiet, and comfortable, with ceiling fans in bedrooms. Only premium suites (if available as an add-on) provide mountain views and daily snacks - check at booking.

Breakfast runs Monday-Friday 6:00-10:00 and Saturday-Sunday 7:00-10:00. The buffet includes hot items such as scrambled eggs, pork carnitas, breakfast tacos, various meats (rotated daily), plus continental options like oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, breads, and juice. For dietary needs, prepackaged chia seed pudding and oat milk are often available. The hotel also hosts a free light meal and beverages every Wednesday evening. A snack bar and wine/champagne are available for purchase, and a minimarket on site sells basics. For full dinners, the surrounding Tunnel Road area has over a dozen walkable chain restaurants and a grocery store.

The indoor swimming pool is open daily from 09:00 to 22:00 year-round, with pool/beach towels provided. The hot tub is located next to the pool, offering a relaxing option for adults. The fitness centre includes standard cardio and strength equipment. For outdoor recreation, BBQ grills and outdoor furniture are available, and a golf course is within 3 km (additional charge). There is no dedicated spa or wellness centre.
