WILD BEAR INN, Pigeon Forge

The property sits on the main Parkway thoroughfare at the southern edge of Pigeon Forge, providing direct access to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance. Dollywood and Dollywood's Splash Country are within a 7- to 14-minute drive. Nearby attractions include the Dixie Stampede dinner show (1 km), Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, and Elvis Museum (5 km). The location is convenient for car travel, with free on-site parking. Those who drive will find easy access to Gatlinburg and the surrounding area. The hotel sits near a new roller coaster attraction.

Room types include Queen and Double Queen options, many with pool or parkway views. All are 31 m². Queen rooms sleep two, Double Queen rooms sleep four with two queen beds. Amenities include mini-refrigerator, coffee maker, cable TV with HBO, in-room safe, hairdryer, ironing facilities (available on request), and chairs with a table in most rooms. The restaurant operates limited hours: Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 12:00 to 21:00, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 to 21:00, and is closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Complimentary breakfast vouchers are provided for two 'Hungry Baren' entrées per day. Additional side items and beverages are available for purchase.

The seasonal outdoor swimming pool is heated and open all year. It features a lift for mobility-impaired guests. A children's pool is also on site. There is no spa, fitness center, or hot tub on the property. The shared lounge/TV area and a balcony with a fireplace and rocking chairs provide additional spaces to relax. A sister property, Wild Bear Falls Water Park, is nearby and has an extra cost for tickets.
