The location is central and exceptionally walkable: The Orange Peel is under a minute away, and many restaurants, breweries, and shops are within a few blocks. Biltmore Estate is 8 km away, Botanical Gardens at Asheville 3 km, and Asheville Regional Airport 19 km. The attached city parking garage is easy to access, though navigating the entrance may require circling the block to approach from the correct direction. Once parked, entering the hotel involves stairs from the garage level; a handicap-accessible elevator is available.

Room layouts include double rooms with one or two beds (some arranged foot-to-foot), family rooms, and options with balconies offering mountain or city views. The design is modern and efficient: beds may be positioned such that one side is against a wall. Storage consists of wall hooks and a small foldable table; there is no dresser or closet, and bathroom sink counterspace is limited. Some rooms have a sliding bathroom door with a gap. Noise between rooms and from above can be an issue, particularly near the restaurant. Air conditioning is individually controlled but may be noisy. A stash closet on each floor provides extra towels, toiletries, irons, and other items.

Breakfast is continental and available for purchase (not complimentary). The rooftop restaurant and bar, Wildwood, serves dinner and cocktails with panoramic mountain and sunset views, and is a popular spot on its own. A poolside bar operates during pool season, and the lobby bar offers a welcoming atmosphere with games. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. For snacks, a snack bar and a Starbucks-style deli offer limited options; local restaurants and breweries are abundant within a short walk.

The heated rooftop pool operates from May to October and comes with sun loungers, pool towels, and a pool bar. The pool area is relatively small and can become busy, especially with children; reserving a cabana costs an extra fee and requires advance booking. The fitness centre is well-equipped with modern machines. The hotel also has a game-filled lobby lounge with board games, a pool table, and shuffleboard, plus a second-floor lounge area overlooking the street.

Additional services include a business centre, laundry facilities on the 5th floor, and a guest laundry room. The front desk can arrange late check-in by prior notification. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. The stash closets are located near the elevators and contain items such as irons, toothbrushes, and feminine products.
