The hotel is immediately across from the airport terminal and less than a 2-minute shuttle ride from arrivals and departures. Downtown Reno is a 10-minute drive away, and the highway provides quick access to the surrounding area. Mt. Rose Ski Resort is 25 minutes by car, and Virginia City is 32 km away. Several restaurants are within walking distance, including Plaza Court Restaurant (0.5 km) and a Costco nearby. The freeway is immediately adjacent, which makes driving convenient but also introduces some road noise in rooms facing it.

Rooms are large and include a sitting area with a sofa bed and ottoman, a separate desk, and a flat-screen TV. Amenities include air conditioning, heating, tea and coffee-making facilities, and a mini-refrigerator. The sofa bed is located in the living area of the King and Double Queen rooms. Microwaves are available on request at check-in, subject to availability. Connecting rooms are available on a request basis but are not guaranteed. Rooms do not have balconies. Some units have been noted to have worn furniture or stained carpeting, and the central air conditioning units in certain rooms can be noisy. The walls allow for some sound transfer from hallways and neighbouring rooms.

The Placery restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner, offering American cuisine in a family-friendly setting. Breakfast costs $8 per person and includes a hot buffet as well as a pre-packaged bagged option (yogurt, granola bar, fruit, bottled water).
