HOSTAL CONCEJO, Salamanca

The property is located on the pedestrianised Plaza de la Libertad, a calm square with trees and a café, yet it is only a few steps from Plaza Mayor. Most major attractions, shops, and restaurants are within a short walking distance. The nearest train station is a 10-minute walk away. The area is lively at night, particularly on weekends, with student nightlife and bars nearby.

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms have private balconies overlooking the quiet plaza or the lively square. Triple rooms are spacious with three single beds and a large bathroom. Some rooms facing the plaza experience significant noise from street parties and cleaning trucks, especially on weekends. Interior-facing rooms or those at the back are quieter. A few rooms have been recently refurbished with modern bathrooms, while others are older with dated furniture. Some rooms may feel small, especially for larger travellers, and some have reported issues with mould and condensation on windows. Room cleaning is daily and included.

Breakfast is not offered on-site, but the adjacent café on the plaza serves coffee and snacks for a morning meal. Within a 2-3 minute walk there are over eight restaurants and tapas bars, including Restaurante Zazu Bistro, Meson La Leyenda, and Cafe Novelty, covering local cuisine and international chains. The area is known for its tapas culture and student-friendly prices.
