Despite the lively nightlife, some rooms remain quiet, while those facing the street or near the lift may be noisier. The area is safe and well-lit, suitable for families and solo travellers exploring the city on foot.

Room types include double rooms (two single beds pushed together), triple rooms (three single beds), and quadruple rooms (four single beds), all with private shower bathrooms. Some rooms have an interior view overlooking a light well, which reduces natural light and may be affected by lift motor noise-room 406 on the fourth floor is particularly exposed. Road-facing rooms can be noisy at night. The bathrooms have a shower, and the bathroom doors do not always close or lock properly, which can reduce privacy. Towels have been noted as older and greyish. Beds vary in firmness, with some finding them hard and others comfortable. Air conditioning works well, and new double-glazed windows help with sound insulation. Cots are available on request.
