HOTEL BIG BANG, Rome

The hotel occupies one floor of an older building on a clean street in the city centre. Termini station is 500 metres away, with direct trains to both Fiumicino and Ciampino airports, and a metro station within less than 1 km. From the hotel, the Colosseum and Forum are about a 20-minute walk, and many major sights are reachable on foot. The area is filled with restaurants, cafés, and shops, and a 24-hour airport bus (TAM) stops a 5-minute walk from the entrance. The immediate street is relatively quiet compared to others near Termini, and a building code is needed to enter, adding to the sense of security.

The breakfast area allows guests to make unlimited coffee and includes pre-packaged snacks. Additional items such as bottled water, soft drinks, and extra snacks are available for purchase at reasonable prices-lower than typical shop prices. For a fuller or hot breakfast, the surrounding area is abundant with cafés, bakeries, and restaurants, many within a 2-minute walk. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar for evening meals.

Wi-Fi access is free and reliable in all rooms. The luggage storage service is included and available before check-in and after checkout until approximately 19:30-useful for late flights or train departures. The property offers a paid airport shuttle (€8/person; book ahead), and a 24-hour bus service (TAM) departs from a 5-minute walk. A lift is available, and the hotel floor is accessible without steps. The building has a key code for entry, and security features include CCTV in common areas, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. A launderette is a 1-minute walk away.
