Hotel Brivio is in the Bovisa district, north of Milan, at the doorstep of the Dergano Metro stop on the yellow line. From there, it is a 15-minute journey to Piazza del Duomo and Milano Centrale railway station (via a direct line change). The area is served by local buses, and Lancetti Train Station is a short bus ride away. Shops, supermarkets, bars, and a variety of affordable restaurants (including Chinese, sushi, pizza, and local specialities) are within a 5-minute walk. The hotel is also near Milan Polytechnic University, the Galeazzi Orthopaedic Centre, and within a few minutes of the Milan Trade Fair and San Siro stadium. A 30-minute train from Centrale reaches the Autodromo di Monza.

Guest rooms are basic but functional, with a recent renovation improving cleanliness and comfort. All rooms feature air conditioning, heating, soundproof walls, tiled floors, a flat-screen TV, and free toiletries. Some newly refurbished rooms have new furniture, comfortable beds, and clean bathrooms. Bathrooms are tiled with a shower, bidet, and hairdryer; private bathrooms are available in double/twin/triple rooms, while single rooms share a bathroom. Rooms lack a wardrobe or cupboard for hanging clothes; an open hanging rack is provided. There is no balcony, no tea/coffee facilities, and the furniture is minimal but adequate for a short stay. Noise isolation between rooms is generally good due to soundproofing, but neighbours in the corridor or older rooms can sometimes be heard.

Hotel Brivio does not offer breakfast, a restaurant, or a bar. Guests can use the garden during summer months, but must bring their own food and drink. There are supermarkets and minimarkets nearby to buy groceries, and several bars, cafés, and restaurants within a 5-minute walk - including Italian pizzerias, Chinese, sushi, and local takeaway options. For those who want a seated breakfast, the surrounding street has cafés serving coffee, pastries, and brioche from early morning.

There is no swimming pool, spa, wellness centre, or gym at the hotel. The only outdoor leisure space is a small garden where guests can relax, have a drink, or charge devices (with available outdoor sockets). For more active leisure, the San Siro stadium and the city centre's cultural attractions are easily reachable by metro within 20 minutes.
