HOTEL SALUS, Milan

The metro provides a direct connection to Milano Centrale Train Station in 15 minutes and to the Duomo in about 10-15 minutes. Several bus lines are also nearby. The surrounding area has a large supermarket (Esselunga) a short walk away, plus multiple affordable dining options including pizzerias, kebab shops, and Italian trattorias. The neighbourhood is practical but can be lively; the street outside the hotel carries bus and car traffic. The Arciboldi and La Scala theatres, San Siro Stadium, and Milan Trade Fair are reachable by public transport.

Room types include single, double, and triple rooms, all with private bathrooms available (some standard rooms may share a toilet; confirm when booking). Rooms are generally spacious in size but basic in furnishing. Each room has an LCD TV, a cooling fan, central heating, free Wi-Fi, and a wardrobe. City views are possible. Some street-facing rooms can be noisy, especially on summer nights when windows are kept open. Noise from neighbouring rooms and corridors is also audible. Heating and cooling are manual; no air conditioning is installed, and the fan may not be sufficient in hot weather. Thin walls, dated decor, and occasional issues with window insulation have been noted. Bathrooms in some units are compact; shower curtains and some fittings may show wear.

No restaurant or breakfast service is available at Hotel Salus. Several dining options are within a short walk: La Teglia Di Affori (0.5 km), Ristorante Lungomare (0.5 km), Istanbul Kebab (0.5 km), Pizzeria da Peppino (0.5 km), Ristorante Cinese Di Jin Yun Fang (0.5 km), and Luka's Bar Trattoria (0.5 km). The large supermarket next door has a café with a variety of food and drinks. For breakfast, you can buy items at the supermarket or at nearby bakeries.

No wellness or leisure facilities are provided on site. The property focuses on providing basic overnight accommodation. Guests looking for relaxation amenities should plan activities elsewhere in Milan.

Wi-Fi in rooms is free. Reception is open 24 hours and can assist with taxi bookings, luggage holding (small bags only, no long-term storage), and provide limited kitchen access on request (e.g., heating baby food). Daily housekeeping is provided free of charge. A paid airport shuttle can be arranged after booking. Public parking is possible nearby with applicable fees but cannot be reserved. Safety features include 24-hour security, CCTV in common areas and outside, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and key access. Designated smoking areas are available.
