HOTEL CASCINA FOSSATA & RESIDENCE, Turin

The hotel sits in a residential area on the northern edge of Turin, with Torino Rebaudengo Fossata station just a two-minute walk away - one stop to Porta Susa in the centre. While the immediate surroundings feel less urban, the gated complex includes a supermarket and green spaces. The location is ideal for car travellers: free private parking and easy highway access. On foot, tram and bus stops are within five minutes. A taxi to the centre costs around €15. The Juventus stadium and Venaria Reale are also easily reachable by bus or train.

The hotel offers twin/double rooms, triple rooms, suites, and apartments. All include soundproofing, private bathrooms with showers, free toiletries, and hairdryers. Family suites add a kitchen and separate living area, while superior rooms feature city-view terraces. Rooms are modern and clean, with tiled floors and a seating area. Beds vary in firmness - some prefer them comfortable, others find them hard. Rooms facing the road can experience traffic noise, while those overlooking the internal garden are quieter. Hallway noise can carry, especially when groups are present.

Breakfast is available daily, offering a buffet with croissants, cakes, cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt, fresh juices, and hot drinks. The restaurant Osteria 12 Arcate is open Tuesday to Saturday for lunch (12:00-14:30) and dinner (19:30-22:30), and Sunday for lunch only. The menu includes meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes in a family-friendly setting. A coffee shop and snack bar are also on site. For self-catering, the supermarket in the building provides groceries. Breakfast can be arranged as a packed lunch on request.

Guests have access to a small gym. The large garden and sun terrace provide outdoor relaxation. Free activities are scheduled periodically - aerobics classes and live performances (check at reception). The children's playground and board games make it family-friendly. Happy hour and tours about local culture are available for a charge. The property also includes a communal lounge, picnic area, and shared TV area.

The hotel provides express check-in/out, safety deposit boxes, and a lift. The 24-hour front desk can assist with taxi bookings and luggage storage. Daily housekeeping is complimentary; laundry and meeting/banquet facilities are charged. The property is wheelchair accessible with adapted bathrooms and grab rails. Pets are welcome at no extra cost. Electric vehicle charging (type 2) is free for the first two hours. Parking is shared with a supermarket; the gate closes at 21:00 but night staff can open it. An additional key card costs a €10 deposit.
