The hotel sits in a lively university quarter near the Rhône riverbanks. Place Bellecour is 10 minutes on foot, and Rue Mercière with its restaurants is a short walk. Medieval Vieux Lyon and Fourvière viewpoint are easily reached via metro D (Guillotière, 5 minutes). For airport transfers, the Rhône Express to Part-Dieu station connects to tram T1 (stop Rue de l'Université). A Lidl supermarket is directly opposite, and many bakeries and eateries are within 2 minutes. The immediate streets can feel less secure after dark, particularly for solo travellers, but public transport makes movement practical.

The breakfast includes hot drinks (coffee, tea, hot chocolate), fresh fruit, cold cuts, cheese, several breads, pastries (croissants, pains au chocolat, pains aux raisins, pancakes), yoghurts and cereals.
