HOTEL GUILLEN JR, Tijuana

Hotel Guillen Jr sits outside the city centre in a tranquil residential area, making it a calm base for visitors needing easy access to the airport or shopping. The hotel is near the Caliente Stadium (a few minutes away by car), and public transport stops directly in front of the property, with Oxxo and 7-Eleven convenience stores within walking distance. Taxis and Uber are readily available for those arriving from the US border on foot, and free reserved on-site parking eliminates city-centre parking stress. The San Diego Convention Center is 30 km away and Balboa Park and San Diego Zoo are also reachable for cross-border day trips.

Hotel Guillen Jr does not operate a restaurant or serve breakfast. A vending machine for drinks and snacks is available on the property for quick refreshments. For more substantial meals, guests can walk to Oxxo and 7-Eleven convenience stores, or order delivery from local eateries. The front desk can assist with recommendations for nearby dining options. Given the lack of on-site meal service, travellers should plan ahead for dinner and morning meals, especially those without a car.

Leisure facilities are limited at Hotel Guillen Jr. There is no pool, spa, gym, or sauna. The property focuses on providing a comfortable, quiet room environment. The nearest leisure attractions are Las Americas Premium Outlets (6 km) for shopping, and the Caliente Stadium for events or sports.

Services include a 24-hour front desk, daily housekeeping (request-based), free luggage storage, room service, and a trouser press. Free private parking is available on site but requires a reservation. The property has 24-hour security with CCTV inside and outside, and an overnight security guard ensures parking lot safety. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas, though performance may suffer with many devices connected. Cash-only payments are accepted, and no airport shuttle service is provided. The hotel does not have a lift, but ground-floor rooms are available for those with mobility needs.
