LEXEN HOTEL - NORTH HOLLYWOOD NEAR UNIVERSAL STUDIOS, Los Angeles

The hotel sits across the street from the North Hollywood Metro station, providing direct one-stop access to Universal Studios (followed by a free shuttle). It is a 10-minute drive to Universal Studios Hollywood and about 15 minutes from Bob Hope Airport (Burbank). The immediate area includes a fire station, which can produce siren noise throughout the night, and some construction is ongoing nearby. However, the location is highly walkable to the NoHo Arts District, with restaurants such as The Federal, Pitfire Artisan Pizza, and NoHo Diner all within 0.5 km. Griffith Park and the Hollywood Bowl are a short drive away. The neighbourhood has a mix of businesses and some transient presence, but the property itself is secure with a locked parking garage and 24-hour front desk.

The hotel does not operate a restaurant, bar, or serve breakfast. However, the lobby is equipped with a 24-hour beverage station offering fresh coffee, hot cocoa, tea, orange juice, and water. A vending machine provides snacks and drinks. The lobby also has a microwave for guest use. Several dining options are within a 5-minute walk, including The Federal (American), Pitfire Artisan Pizza, NoHo Diner, Panda Express, and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. For those preferring delivery, the property provides a menu app for ordering meals directly to the hotel. Overall, guests should plan to eat out or bring their own food, as the hotel's food offering is limited to self-serve drinks and packaged items.

The hotel provides a small but well-equipped fitness centre on the second floor, free for all guests. Adjacent to the gym is a shaded outdoor terrace with seating, ideal for relaxing or working outdoors. A shared lounge/TV area on the ground floor offers additional space for socialising. There is no swimming pool or spa. The property does not have its own bar or entertainment, but the nearby NoHo Arts District provides cinemas, live music, and nightlife within walking distance. Public tennis courts are located directly across the street, and Griffith Park is a short drive away for hiking and recreation.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel. The 24-hour front desk can assist with check-in, luggage storage (available before check-in and after checkout), and basic requests. Daily housekeeping is included. The property has a lift and is equipped with accessible parking spaces and an electric vehicle charging station. A safety deposit box is available in each room. Business facilities include free fax/photocopying and meeting/banquet services for an additional charge. Laundry is not offered on site, but a nearby laundromat is available. Parking is private, on-site, and costs $10 per night; spaces are limited and cannot be reserved. Street parking with meters is an alternative. The hotel does not provide a shuttle service, but the metro station across the street offers easy access to the area.
