HOTEL KORNER ETOILE, Paris

The hotel sits in the Porte de Champerret neighborhood, a quiet residential zone in the 17th arrondissement. Metro station Porte de Champerret (line 3) is a one-minute walk, providing direct access to Opera Garnier and the Marais. The Arc de Triomphe is a 20-minute walk, and Parc Monceau is 15 minutes on foot. The area is well served by bus and tram lines, with the RER C station at Pereire about 10 minutes away for direct trains to the Eiffel Tower. Numerous restaurants, brasseries, cafés, and a Carrefour market are within a 5-minute walk. The hotel is about 30 minutes by car from Gare du Nord, and a taxi from there costs 30-50 EUR. From Charles de Gaulle airport, public transport via RER B + RER C or Roissy Bus + metro line 3 takes just under an hour. The neighborhood is safe for walking at night.

Rooms are compact and functional, featuring parquet flooring, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a desk, and an en suite bathroom with a shower. Basic toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, towels) are provided. A kettle with coffee and tea is available in the room. Family rooms can accommodate up to three guests with two double beds or one double and a single, though furnishings are minimal-often a rail for hanging clothes rather than a wardrobe. Some rooms face the street and may experience traffic noise; windows insulate well but lack insect nets. Air conditioning is installed in all rooms, though its reliability has been inconsistent. Road-facing rooms and ground-floor rooms are the noisiest, while upper-floor rooms facing the inner courtyard tend to be quieter. Room cleaning is done daily, with fresh towels provided.

Breakfast is a continental buffet with fresh bread, croissants, jams, butter, fruit, yogurt, juice, and hot drinks. It costs 14 EUR per person and can be added to the booking or paid on-site. The breakfast room is small but functional, located off the main reception area. For those who prefer to eat out, the surrounding area offers a wide variety of bakeries, brasseries, and restaurants within a few minutes' walk, including several that are popular with locals. The hotel does not have its own restaurant, lunch, or dinner service. A shared kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator is available for guests to prepare simple meals. Throughout the day, the hotel provides free coffee, espresso, tea, and juice at the reception, a convenient option before heading out or for a quick afternoon break.

Wellness facilities are not available on site. There is no swimming pool, spa, sauna, or fitness centre. Parc Monceau, a beautiful English-style park, is a 15-minute walk away and provides a green space for relaxation or a morning run. The Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées are within a 20-minute walk, offering extensive opportunities for sightseeing and shopping. The hotel's excellent public transport connections make it easy to reach other leisure destinations across Paris.
