HOTEL LABELLE, Montreal

Hotel Les Suites Labelle is centrally placed in Montreal's Latin Quarter, only a two-minute walk from the Berri-UQAM metro station where three lines converge. Old Montreal, Chinatown, and St. Catherine Street are within a 15-minute walk, and the 747 Express Bus from the airport stops at Berri-UQAM, making airport transfers straightforward. The area around the hotel includes a mix of restaurants, shops, and an IGA grocery store. The immediate street is a quieter side lane, reducing street noise, though the neighbourhood has visible challenges including homelessness. For those arriving by car, on-site parking is available but space is limited and the garage entrance is narrow.

The hotel offers studio-style rooms that are generally spacious and include a kitchenette with a stovetop, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, and cooking utensils. Beds are large and comfortable, and all rooms have air conditioning, soundproofing, and a 37-inch flat-screen TV. Some rooms feature a spa bath, and upper-floor rooms may have views over neighbouring rooftops. The decor is practical and somewhat dated, with older furniture and carpeted floors. Room sizes vary, and some rooms have limited natural light. The air conditioning units can be noisy when running. The accommodation is clean and well maintained, suitable for couples, small families, or longer stays.

Breakfast is included and served daily from 07:00 to 11:00 in a large dining room. The spread typically includes croissants, muffins, bagels with cream cheese, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit salad, white and brown bread with jam, boiled eggs, ham, cheese, and a choice of coffee, tea, milk, hot chocolate, and juice. The breakfast options are continental-style with no hot cooked items such as scrambled eggs or bacon. The selection remains consistent day to day. The room is spacious enough to accommodate all guests without crowding.

The hotel does not have a spa, gym, or pool. Leisure options are limited to the outdoor terrace and the surrounding city attractions. The Latin Quarter and Old Montreal offer many walking routes, restaurants, and cultural sites within a short distance.

The hotel provides free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout, though signal strength can be weak on upper floors. The 24-hour front desk offers concierge service, luggage storage, and daily housekeeping upon request. Self-service laundry machines are available on the first floor for an additional charge. Business facilities include a business centre, meeting/banquet rooms, and fax/photocopying services. Parking is available on-site for CAD 25 per night on a first-come, first-served basis; the entrance is narrow and best suited for smaller cars. A parking garage is also available. The hotel has a lift and is equipped for disabled guests, with non-smoking rooms and soundproofing throughout. A security deposit of CAD 250 is required at check-in via credit card. The property is non-smoking and has 24-hour security with CCTV.
