HOTEL MARCANTONIO, Rome

The hotel is ideally placed for exploring Rome on foot or by public transport. Termini Metro is 100 metres away, providing direct links to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Vatican. Major sights such as the Colosseum are within a 20-25 minute walk. The surrounding Monti district offers numerous restaurants, bars, and shops. The area feels safe even after dark, with a convenience store next door. The hotel's location outside the ZTL (limited traffic zone) makes it practical for those arriving by car, though no parking is available on site. Hop-on hop-off bus stops and taxi ranks are within a few minutes' walk.

The breakfast is a simple Italian sweet affair. You select a delivery time the evening before, and it arrives on a tray. No hot food is offered; croissants, toast, and pre-packaged jams are the standard. The surrounding streets have dozens of dining options - Italian, North African, and Asian cuisine - all within a 5-10 minute walk. The hotel has no restaurant, bar, or café on site, but a coffee machine is available at reception. For early departures, a take-away bag with plain croissants can be arranged upon request.

Services include express check-in/out, concierge, daily housekeeping, and safety deposit boxes. The reception is on the 5th floor, accessed via a small elevator or stairs. Keys must be left at reception when leaving the building. Luggage storage is available after check-out until 17:00 for 2 EUR per bag. The hotel does not have a restaurant, bar, lounge, or gym. Pets are allowed on request at 25 EUR per night, but must not be left unattended. Cots can be provided free of charge. Wi-Fi is free and works reliably. The building has CCTV and 24-hour security.
