Compact, practical rooms
Rooms at Uptown Inn are compact, with private bathrooms, air-conditioning, and free WiFi. Each unit has a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a small fridge, and a work desk. Some rooms face the freeway; earplugs are provided. West-side rooms are quieter. A shared kitchen with a stove, microwave, and dishes is available on the 6th floor.
Self-catering, no restaurant
There is no restaurant on site. Guests can prepare meals in the shared kitchen on the 6th floor, which has a stove, microwave, and refrigerator. Better Buzz Coffee is two doors down, and Whole Foods is a 5-minute walk. Many restaurants and bars are on University Avenue.
