HOTEL OLYMPIA UNIVERSIDADES, Valencia

Hotel Olympia Universidades sits in the lively Benimaclet university district, with the Benimaclet metro station and a tram stop directly outside. The metro line connects to Valencia North Station in about 10 minutes and runs directly from Valencia Airport (12 km away). The tram reaches La Malvarrosa Beach in less than 15 minutes. The historic city centre is a 20-minute walk through the Turia Gardens, or a quick metro ride. The area is filled with shops, supermarkets, bars, and restaurants within a 5-minute walk. Street parking is available but can be difficult to find; the nearest public car park is Parking Tierno Galvan. The Royal Gardens are also a 5-minute walk away. For sports visitors, Mestalla Stadium is a 15-minute walk.

Rooms come as doubles, triples, and some with a private terrace. The terrace rooms include a coffee maker; other rooms can request a kettle free of charge (subject to availability). Every room has a flat-screen TV, fridge, safety deposit box, and a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. While soundproofing is standard in all rooms, some units facing the inner courtyard tend to be quieter; road-facing rooms can still be noisy. Triple rooms are available but can feel small for three adults. Rooms are cleaned daily with towel changes. Luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out at the 24-hour reception.

A buffet breakfast is available daily for 9 EUR per person, offering breads, pastries, fresh fruit, cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt, hot items, and gluten-free options on request. The breakfast area is small and located in the lobby, so arriving early is advisable to avoid waiting for a table. The hotel has no restaurant or bar for lunch or dinner, but the surrounding Benimaclet streets are lined with cafés, pizzerias, fast-food spots, and sit-down restaurants within a 5-minute walk. A supermarket on the same block is convenient for self-catering.

While there are no wellness facilities at the hotel, the location offers practical alternatives for leisure. Bicycles can be rented from the hotel (subject to availability) for exploring Valencia, including the beach and the Turia Gardens. The tram stop outside provides direct access to La Malvarrosa Beach in under 15 minutes. The nearby Turia Gardens and Royal Gardens are excellent for walking, jogging, or cycling. The hotel's central transport links also make it easy to reach other leisure spots such as the City of Arts and Sciences.
