APARTAMENTOS ALOE, Puerto del Carmen (Lanzarote)

Apartamentos Aloe sits in a quiet area of Puerto del Carmen, a short 5-6 minute walk from a SPAR supermarket and about 10 minutes from the resort centre and main beach. The flat walk to the seafront takes roughly 8 minutes with no hills, but the return from the strip is uphill - manageable for most, but those with mobility difficulties may prefer the inexpensive taxi ride back (a 5-minute trip). Lanzarote Airport is 9 km away, about 15 minutes by car; public transport (bus and taxi) is available directly from the airport. Free on-site street parking is available, with a few reserved spots right by the entrance.

Each apartment is a self-contained unit comprising one separate twin bedroom (two single beds that can be pushed together), a living room with a sofa bed and flat-screen TV (with Netflix and Disney+), and a kitchenette with an electric hob, kettle, fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffee machine. The bathroom features a walk-in shower and a hairdryer. Beds have been described as firm - fine for a few nights but some find them hard. Sofas in some units are older and can be uncomfortable. Upper-floor apartments have balconies overlooking the pool and get full sun; ground-floor units have a terrace with direct pool access. A fan is provided for cooling, as there is no air conditioning. Some apartments have been partially renovated with modern bathrooms and updated furniture, while others remain more dated.

The apartments have a fully equipped kitchenette for preparing your own meals, with basic cooking utensils, a washing-up kit, and a tea towel provided. The Spinnaker Bar & Restaurant is about 500 metres away, and the main strip offers a wide selection of bars and restaurants serving pizza, pasta, chicken dishes, and some good Indian and steak options. A large supermarket (HyperDino) is a 5-minute walk, and a Lidl is about 20 minutes on foot. The pool area has a policy of no outside food or drinks. There is no bar or café on site.
