HOTEL Q NEW YORK, New York

Hotel Q New York is located in a Queens neighbourhood that is convenient for drivers but less so for public transport users. The closest subway station is a 10-15 minute walk through quiet residential streets. The area is heavily commercial with several car dealerships. An elevated train line runs adjacent to the property, causing occasional noise on that side. Within a five-minute walk there are several Thai restaurants. The immediate vicinity includes a construction site and a dark underpass that may feel unwelcoming at night, though the street itself is quiet late. Those travelling to Manhattan should expect a 30-45 minute Metro ride or a longer Uber ride. Taxi drivers may not know the hotel's exact location, so it is advisable to have the address ready. Free on-site parking is available but limited to nine spaces.

Breakfast at Hotel Q New York is a free continental buffet offered each morning from 6:00 to 10:00. The selection includes bread, pastries, cereal, juice (orange juice is concentrate-based), and coffee. The quality is simple and repetitive; items such as eggs are pre-prepared. The hotel does not operate a restaurant or bar for lunch or dinner. Several Thai restaurants are within a five-minute walk for those seeking other meal options.
