OSTELLOLINDA, Milan

The property is 350 metres on foot from the Affori FN metro (M3 yellow line) and suburban rail station, with direct connections to Milano Centrale (about 25-30 minutes by metro) and the Duomo. From Malpensa Airport, take the Malpensa shuttle to Milano Centrale, then the metro to Affori FN. From Bergamo Airport, take a bus to Centrale then the metro. A weekend market on the street outside on Saturdays offers fresh local produce. Several restaurants and bars are within 500 metres. The neighbourhood is quiet and residential; the park setting provides a calm retreat from the city centre.

The twin room includes a wardrobe, dressing area, washing machine, and a private shower with hairdryer. Dormitory rooms - 4-bed female or 4-bed mixed - offer individual lockers (subject to availability), and a shared bathroom. Many rooms date from the building's original 20th-century construction and feel basic rather than modern. Noise insulation is limited; doors are heavy and can slam, and sounds from the corridor and neighbours are easily audible. In summer, rooms can become very hot - only a fan is provided, and opening windows may let in noise from the weekend market early on Saturdays. Rooms facing the park are generally quieter. Sleeping bags are allowed if preferred, and bed linen and towels are provided.

Breakfast is included in the rate and typically available from 07:00; a packed breakfast box can be arranged for early departures. The shared kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering (kettle, microwave, utensils, cutlery). A snack bar and vending machines offer drinks and snacks at very low prices. There is an on-site bar and a restaurant within the park complex (open until around 23:00) serving pizza and Italian dishes. Nearby, several cafés, pizzerias and a supermarket are within a short walk. Guests who prefer a wider cooked breakfast may choose to eat at one of the local cafés.

The property is wheelchair accessible on the ground floor, including a dedicated accessible room with en-suite bathroom. Reception is open 14:00-19:00; late check-in is possible by prior arrangement (call the number provided upon booking). The shared lounge/TV area and the kitchen are spacious and homely. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas and works in most rooms. A hairdryer, ironing facilities and bathroom towels are available on request at reception. A coin-operated washing machine and dryer are available. Board games and a laptop for guest use are provided. The property also offers meeting/banquet facilities (additional charge) and a fax/photocopying service.
