The Wien Mitte shopping centre and a large supermarket are adjacent. The City Park is 5 minutes on foot, and St. Stephen's Cathedral is reachable in a 15-minute walk. For drivers, public parking is available a short walk away but no hotel parking exists. The neighbourhood is considered one of Vienna's top-rated areas for location.

The accommodation consists of single, double, and family rooms on the second floor of a residential building. Rooms are described as large for the price category, with high ceilings and basic furnishings. Bathrooms are prefabricated plastic units reminiscent of those in a campervan; they are functional but small, with showers that can be tricky to regulate temperature. Noise insulation between rooms is poor - conversations and hallway sounds carry easily. Street-facing rooms can be noisy, while courtyard-facing rooms are significantly quieter. There is no air conditioning; a fan is provided in each room. Windows open but only partially. Heating can be difficult to regulate, and the rooms tend to stay warm. Some furniture shows wear and tear; cleanliness reports vary. Bedding is generally deemed comfortable, though some mattresses are soft.

Breakfast is a basic continental spread: bread rolls, sliced cheese, cold meats, boiled eggs, jam, butter, coffee, tea, and juice. The selection is modest and the buffet is restocked gradually. The dining room has limited seating, so guests may need to wait for a table during peak times. No à la carte restaurant or bar is available on site.
