HOTEL SUNROUTE STELLAR UENO, Tokyo

Exit the station from the Asakusa Exit for the most direct route to the hotel. JR Ueno links to Akihabara in 4 minutes and Tokyo Station in 7. The Keisei Skyliner from Keisei Ueno Station reaches Narita Airport in roughly 42 minutes. Ueno Park, Ameyoko shopping street, and multiple convenience stores are all within a 5- to 10-minute walk. The area is well served by trains and subways, and the streets are generally safe and lively in the evening. While the immediate vicinity is busy, the hotel sits on a quieter side street that remains relatively calm after dark.

Room types include single, twin, and double configurations ranging from 16.2 to 25 m². All rooms come with a private bathroom with bath and shower, free toiletries, slippers, and a hairdryer. Amenities include air conditioning (centrally controlled by season), heating, an electric kettle, refrigerator, desk, carpeted floors, and a trouser press. Some rooms have tatami mats and city views, while others only have windows that do not open. The double bed measures 160 cm wide. During the spring and autumn transition periods, the central system may leave rooms stuffy; requesting a room on a lower floor with an operable window can help. A few rooms on busy streets may experience occasional traffic noise late at night. Power outlets are limited; a power strip is useful for charging multiple devices.

The 24-hour front desk assists with check-in, luggage storage, and questions. Luggage storage is free on the check-in day for same-day collection; longer storage costs 500 yen per item per night. The coin laundry on the 5th floor has two washers and two dryers; detergent is sold at the front desk. Luggage forwarding via Yamato can send bags to Narita or Haneda airports (2-day arrival). Daily housekeeping includes fresh towels. No pets, no parking, and no shuttle service. A wheelchair lift is available, but the lobby is reached by stairs. The building has a lift, key card security, safety deposit box, and a designated smoking area in the lobby.
