HOTEL VIKTORIA SCHOENBRUNN, Vienna

The hotel sits in a quiet residential area directly adjacent to the Schönbrunn Palace gardens and the main entrance of the Schönbrunn Zoo. U-Bahn station Hietzing on line U4 is a one-minute walk, providing direct rail connections to central Vienna (Karlsplatz) in about 10 minutes, as well as tram and bus links. The immediate neighbourhood offers a bakery, a supermarket, and several restaurants including Italian, Asian, and Austrian options. An underground public car park is a two-minute walk away, with a Park+Ride alternative at Hütteldorf (U4 terminus) for 4.10 EUR per day.

All rooms include a private bathroom with hairdryer, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a safe, electric kettle, and tea/coffee fixings. Double rooms come with either one large double bed or two single beds; quadruple and family room configurations are available. The Economy quadruple room is located in the basement (below street level) with a restricted view and is only accessible by stairs. Some rooms face the street and may pick up traffic noise, while rooms to the rear are notably quieter. The property is heated in winter (thermostat is centrally regulated) and does not have air conditioning; fans are provided in summer. Accommodation is spread over several floors with a lift serving most levels.

The breakfast buffet includes bread, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, boiled eggs, cereal, yoghurt, hot drinks, and juice. The selection is focused on continental items without hot cooked dishes. Breakfast is served in a basement dining room. The hotel does not operate a restaurant or bar for lunch or dinner. Several independent eateries are within a short walk, including Italian, Asian, and Austrian restaurants, as well as a bakery and a café.
